jeremy lotz, ma, lpc, ncc. is a licensed professional counselor in missouri and a nationally board certified counselor. he is an individual, couples, & family therapist who's been practicing full-time since 2005. he obtained his bachelor's degree in psychology from the university of central missouri in 2002 and his master's degree in mental health counseling from the university of missouri - kansas city in 2004. since that time, he's had the pleasure of working across several agencies as a therapist, clinical supervisor and training director. he now enjoys providing individual and family therapy in private practice in lee's summit, mo.
jeremy sees clients for individual, family & couples therapy and specializes in adolescence, family issues, & christian counseling. he utilizes a variety of therapy techniques including (but not limited to) EMDR, solution-focused, family systems, cognitive behavioral & dbt-oriented therapies. jeremy has advanced training in the best-practice trauma therapy called EMDR and is able to help clients recover from all forms of trauma.
jeremy has experience with the following issues: depression, anxiety, codependency, emotional issues, child & adolescent behavioral issues, life management skills, mood disorders, parenting issues, stress management, anger issues, grief and loss, self esteem, and divorce/blended family issues.
